(Emphasize: Low Stances, Crosses, Hips, Full chamber and pull back in section 1, Stay low in section 4,  )

One Steps / Self Defense:

  • Hands: 6-10 
  • Feet: 6-10 
  • Self-D: 6-10 *

(Emphasize: Hips, should be speeding up and distance should be closer.)

Basics:
Emphasize: HIPS - Chops - Center Line - Developing power in kicks, 

Rolls / Falls: 
Hop into Back Fall - Hop into Front fall

Concepts & Knowledge
Developing power from hips - In close, in control

Overall Focus:

  • HIPS are the main focus of this rank. "Hip motion A” (twisting power) and “Hip Motion B” (driving power), should be Practiced and emphasized the most.
  • Stances: should should have correct bent legs and hips and feet pointed in the right direction. Should be lower than at orange belt.
  • Chops are another main focus of this rank, getting center chop with hips will help the technique greatly.
  • All Techniques are on the center line.
